My Purpose
My purpose when I develop
and facilitate training programs is to provide an
environment, in which the participants experience
their commitment and their ability to create satisfaction
and success in their lives.
An added bonus is that the participants acquire
the confidence, skills, and strategies to enable others
to achieve the same outcomes.
My Training Creed
As I stand in front of a group, I am judged.
As I challenge and inspire others to grow, develop,
and apply what they have gained, I will commit to
even greater personal effort to do the same.
I can never ask others to take risks that I would
not take. I will live my life fully and courageously
as I cross from solid ground into the unknown. I will
be seen as both vulnerable and tenacious in these
growth-producing experiences.
Each time I talk, I offer the listeners a small portion
of the life that has made me what I am today.
By virtue of the fact that I have the privilege of
standing in front of eager minds, I will never forget
the awesome God given power to influence the way people
think.
It's a responsibility that I refuse to take lightly.
Here and now, I pledge a renewed intensity to each
course that I present. I will present as though this
was my last opportunity to share what I have learned
thus far in life.
I will then know as I complete each course that this
was my best effort - ever.
The Process
During the training sessions I will encourage the
participants to be doing the following:
- Listen as the data is presented. The participants
are encouraged to use questions and discussions to
clarify the information
- Complete reflective and team exercises
- Communicate and share their experiences
- Focus on their strengths, unique talents, and experience
and managing their limitations
The Participants
My experience, over 30 years, has taken me from
Cape Town to Namibia to Amman, and all participants
have demonstrated the same basic needs. Everyone
wants to make a contribution; everyone has a desire
to make a difference, everyone needs to be part
of a dynamic team. "THE HUMAN DESIRE TO BE
PRODUCTIVE"
